Goblet pleated draperies are among the most luxurious window treatment designs. A modern take on the classic pinch pleat design, goblet pleat drapes add an extra element of visual interest with their open “wine goblet” shape created at the top of the window treatment where the buckram is located. Cotton batting is inserted into each goblet pleat’s opening, and this creates the luxurious, round shape that this custom pleated curtain derives its name from.
