Return Policy
Since our custom window treatments are made especially for you and to your specifications, they are non-cancellable once an order is placed and are non-returnable. Dream Drapes does warranty all of our products free from defect or damage. Please see “Receipt of Damaged or Defective Products” for more information.
If, within 30 days of order receipt, you are not satisfied with your purchase of any ready-made product, you may return it for an exchange or refund. All returns must be in like new condition in its original packaging in order to qualify for a refund. If returns are received in used or damaged condition, no refund will be given.
If you decide to return a ready-made product that you had previously purchased, you must call us at 888-871-3475 or email us at sales@dreamdrapes.com to get a Return Authorization Code. This code must be included on the outside of the box as well as on a return slip placed inside the box.

Dream Drapes 30 Bartholomew Ave. Hartford, CT 06106 860-951-8110We strongly recommend shipping your product back to Dream Drapes using a delivery method that generates a tracking number or delivery receipt. Please keep this number until your refund has been processed by us.
Once Dream Drapes receives your return, please expect up to two weeks to receive your refund or credit. Your return will be less any shipping charges incurred and a 10% restocking fee. If you place an exchange order for equal or greater value than the return, the restocking fee will be waived.
Your refund will be given as a credit to your original payment method. If you are returning a product that was given to you as a gift, you will receive in-store credit as your refund. If you are returning a product that was originally purchased using a gift certificate, you will receive in-store credit as your refund.
Custom Order Information
No custom window treatment order is considered complete until Dream Drapes receives via email (sales@dreamdrapes.com) or fax (800-723-5913) the signed order confirmation form that will be emailed to you after your order is placed online. This order confirmation is required for you to verify and ensure the accuracy of your measurements, fabric choices and other custom options such as pleat styles prior to your window treatments being made to your exact specifications.
Once we've received your signed order confirmation form, your credit card will be charged and your drapes will enter production. Please expect 4 to 8 weeks for the completion of your custom drapes.
Order Fulfillment
The majority of all products are custom made and shipped from our location in Avon, Connecticut.
Cancelation Policy
You may cancel your custom made window treatment order at any time prior to signing the required customer order confirmation form. All order confirmations for custom products must be signed within one week of placing your order, or else your order may be canceled. No cancelations or changes to your order are allowed after the order confirmation has been signed.
No order is deemed canceled until you receive an email from Dream Drapes confirming that your order has been canceled. If you attempt to cancel your order and it has already shipped out, any subsequent return would fall under the Dream Drapes Return Policy. See below.
Sales Tax
Everything Imagination is required by law to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to the states of Vermont and Connecticut. All other orders will not require collection of sales tax.
Receipt of Damaged or Defective Products
Please see our Shipping Policy for information regarding Dream Drapes’ shipping policy. If you receive a product that was damaged during shipping or is defective, please give us a call at 888-871-3475 for instructions on how to proceed. Dream Drapes guarantees all of our products free from damage or defect. Dream Drapes does reserve the right to correct all defective or damaged custom window treatments. Only if such window treatments can not be fixed will a refund or discount be given to the customer.
Order Status
Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipping method and the tracking number.
